Y factor is a platform dedicated to fostering safe, respectful, and meaningful connections for private sperm donation. To maintain a welcoming and trustworthy community, we hold our members accountable for their interactions both on and off our platform.

Our Community Guidelines ensure that all members engage in a responsible and respectful manner. They outline what content and conduct are not acceptable within our app.

Profile Guidelines

• Age: You must be at least 18 years old to join Y factor. Misrepresenting your age or providing false identification is not allowed. We may request ID verification and will block underage users.

• Profile Photos: Your profile should reflect your authentic self. We do not require photos of you but strongly encourage that you upload at least one so that both donors and future families can get to know each other better.

• Username: To protect your anonymity, only your nickname will be visible. You can choose to use Y factor’s nickname generator or come up with your own. Nicknames cannot be:

  • Offensive, misleading, or inappropriate names.

  • Names containing excessive symbols, numbers, or emojis.

Content and Conduct Guidelines

Respectful Communication: All interactions should be based on mutual respect. Harassment, bullying, or any form of intimidation will not be tolerated. This includes:

• Insulting, belittling, or threatening language.

• Unsolicited comments about appearance.

• Emotional manipulation or coercion.

Intercourse as a Choice of Donation: In the Y factor profile, you need to select a donation method preference. Each persons’s donation method preference needs to be respected. We make this information transparently available on your profile, so that there can be no misunderstanding. Sexual intercourse is not needed for a successful insemination.

Adult Content and Sexual Conduct: While Y factor is a platform focused on reproductive choices, we do not allow vulgar content. Discussions should remain appropriate and respectful.

Authenticity and Honesty: Misrepresentation, catfishing, or falsifying personal details (such as name, age, or background) is prohibited.

Misinformation: Spreading false or misleading information about fertility, reproductive health, or medical procedures is strictly prohibited. We rely on trusted scientific sources to guide discussions.

Child Safety: Any form of child exploitation, endangerment, or inappropriate discussions involving minors is strictly banned. This includes sharing or requesting content related to children in an inappropriate manner.

Commercial and Promotional Activity: Y factor is not a marketplace. Soliciting, advertising, or selling services is not permitted.

Substance Use and Illegal Activity: The promotion, distribution, or misuse of illegal substances, including prescription drugs, is not allowed.

Hate Speech and Discrimination: We do not tolerate content that promotes hate, discrimination, or harm based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected attribute.

Safety and Well-Being: Any threats of violence, self-harm, or encouragement of dangerous behavior will result in immediate action, including removal from the platform.

Platform Integrity and Safety Reporting

Scams and Fraud: Deceptive behavior, financial scams, or misleading requests for money are prohibited.

Unwanted Advances and Harassment: Sexual harassment, unsolicited explicit messages, or repeated unwanted contact will not be tolerated.

Spam and Platform Manipulation: Using bots, multiple accounts, or automation to influence interactions is strictly prohibited.

Violence and Threats: Any form of physical or sexual violence, exploitation, or coercion will be met with serious consequences, including potential involvement of law enforcement.

Reporting Violations: If you experience or witness behavior that violates our guidelines, please report it. Y factor uses a combination of human moderation and automated systems to ensure a safe environment.

Enforcement and Accountability

Y factor takes violations seriously. Based on the severity of an infraction, we may:

• Remove specific content.

• Issue a warning.

• Suspend or permanently ban an account.

Actions outside of our platform that endanger or harm our members may also lead to account suspension. If you believe we have made an error in enforcing these guidelines, you can reach out to our support team for review.
